The Pathfinder

For 50 years, The Pathfinder has been a part of Manhattan, helping generations of customers gear up for adventures close to home and around the world. Founded in 1975 as a neighborhood bike shop, it grew into a trusted outfitter for cycling, camping, footwear, and outdoor gear.

This fall marks the end of that journey. The Pathfinder will close its doors on Saturday, October 25, 2025, following a Store Closing Sale beginning October 2. Shoppers will find deep discounts on everything in the store — from bikes and apparel to camping and cycling accessories. While the decision to close has been difficult, we are proud to have carried on the legacy of this iconic shop and are deeply grateful for the support the Manhattan community has shown for half a century.
