Thank you, St. Louis — you’ve done it again! On August 21, St. Louis Magazine unveiled their 2025 A-List Awards, and Alpine Shop walked away with not one, not two, but three major Readers’ Choice honors — as many as any other retailer in the region.

Our 2025 St. Louis Magazine A-List Awards:

Best Outdoor Outfitters (7th year in a row!)

• Best Activewear (our 9th win — and 5th straight)

• Best Bike Shop (our first time ever!)

That last one? A little extra sweet. Our Kirkwood Bike Shop has been serving cyclists for decades, quietly helping riders who just want to enjoy the outdoors. No flashy race teams, no jersey programs — just patient, kind, knowledgeable staff making sure every rider leaves ready to roll. This “best-kept secret” finally got its long-overdue recognition, and we couldn’t be prouder.

And the celebration doesn’t stop there — Alpine Shop was also named a finalist for Best Locally-Owned Clothing Store and Best Shoe Store.

All told, these honors mark our 20th A-List award since 2011 — alongside another 18 “Best Of” titles from other publications. But the real credit belongs to you, our community. These awards are 100% reader-voted, with over half a million ballots cast this year. Without your support, none of this happens.
