The 2023 Terrain Magazine Readers' Choice Awards were released on December 22, 2022 and Alpine Shop had a record-breaking eight selections as winners or finalists, including nearly the entire line-up from our Off-Road Racing League calendar of events.

"These awards are so important to us," said Alpine Shop Marketing Director Todd Oswald. "Because they align with what we've tried to do as a company for the past 10 years. We want to be the brand that comes to mind whenever someone wants to venture off the pavement and get out into the amazing areas we have to explore all around our hometown. That's why as amazing as it is to see the love for our events, it's just as important for us to be finalists for Best Running Store and Best Bike Store in the trail category. That's who we are."

As Alpine Shop begins celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2023, these awards are the latest in a long list of honors for the company, including two national retailer of the year awards in the past decade. Since Terrain began announcing these awards in 2018, Alpine Shop has been honored with 14 wins and been a finalist for 12 more. In the St. Louis Magazine A-List Awards announced earlier in 2022, the shop was honored for the fourth straight year as Best Outdoor Outfitters, and named Best Activewear for the third time in four years.

As the St. Louis region continues to explode with more and more outdoor recreation activities, the shop is honored to be inlcluded as Readers' Choice in so many categories. If you'd like to see the full list of honorees, you can find it here.
