Thank You, again, St. Louis! St. Louis Magazine announced their annual A-List awards on Tuesday, June 20 and Alpine Shop was honored to be the only business in the Shopping and Services category to receive more than one award. In fact, the St. Louis-owned outdoor retailer took home three awards. 

2023 St. Louis Magazine A-List Awards:

• Best Outdoor Outfitters
• Best Sporting Goods Store
• Best Locally-Owned Clothing Store

"What makes these awards so special is we're a locally-owned company that still believes in custom-tailoring what we sell to the people of St. Louis and the Midwest," said Alpine Shop Store Manager Angie Bono. "While we're unbelievably excited to be honored by three A-List Awards, we're just as excited for our community to see what we've got in store for the second half of 2023 and beyond." 

This is the fifth consecutive year that Alpine Shop has won Best Outdoor Outfitters, and the fourth time in five (including the last three) years that the store has won Best Activewear. It is the first time the Shop has won for Best Locally-Owned Clothing Store. Overall, these awards represent the 13th, 14th and 15th A-List wins for Alpine Shop since 2011. In that same time period, the Shop has been honored another 30 times with "Best of" awards by other local publications. 

As Alpine Shop celebrates their 50th Anniversary in 2023, they are committed to continuing efforts to set the standard for outdoor retailers across the Midwest.

"We're truly humbled by these results," said Bono. "At the same time, we realize that we can't simply rest on the history of the past 50 years. We're dedicated to helping anyone who wants to experience the outdoors in whatever way we can." 

The St. Louis Magazine A-List Readers' Choice Awards are an annual celebration of the region’s finest, as voted on by readers. With more than 75,000 nominations and 550,000 votes, the results are based 100 percent on the choices of the magazine's readers.
