- The Yakima BaseClip Kits work in combination with the Yakima BaseLine Towers. The kit provides a secure, custom fit to many vehicles with a bare roof. The custom shaped base pads are made of protective rubber, they attach to the base of the BaseLine Tower which rests directly on the roof of the vehicle. Custom formed powder-coated stainless steel brackets secure into the BaseLine Tower and grip to the vehicle's door frame. Features:
- The BaseClip Kit is engineered to minimizes the possibilities of harm to the vehicle's rubber molding and paint finish. Sold in pairs with vehicle specific base pads; most racks require 2 sets.
