FRIDAY, MARCH 4:

7 pm - Spring Expo Kick-Off Happy Hour
Help us kick off the Spring Expo right. Join us for a chance to spin the Alpine Shop Wheel of Fortune for prizes!

SATURDAY, MARCH 5:

9 am - Wake Up! Yoga Sponsored by Lole
Start your Spring Expo morning off right with a FREE Yoga session followed by some Lole giveaways.

11 am - Tips & Tricks to Kayak Fishing in Missouri
Whether you’re just getting started or have done it for years, the Missouri Smallmouth Alliance will show you tips and tricks to making 2016 your best year yet.

12:30 pm - Places to Ride in STL (& Future Paths, too!)
Great Rivers Greenway showcases the best bike paths in the area and where they’re working to bring new ones.

2 pm - Wild Utah: America’s Red Rock Wilderness
Clayton Daughenbaugh, a conservation organizer with the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance, presents this multi-media experience of one of our favorite places to explore.

3:30 pm - Take Better Pics while Hiking & Paddling
Local photographer Richard Spener shares his tips and tricks on getting better shots when you’re on the trail or exploring waterways.

5 pm - Backpacking for the Ladies
A representative from Osprey packs will share tips and tricks to help women get the most out of their next adventure in the backcountry, including information on the newest women-specific gear available now.

6:30 pm Campfire Happy Hour
Thanks to Osprey, you can enjoy a s’more (or two) while enjoying a complimentary beverage. Spin the wheel to see what you’ll win!

SUNDAY, MARCH 6:

1 pm - Pformula for a Pfun Philmont
Long-time Philmont Scout Ranch staff member and Alpine Shop employee, Cynthia Treumper will help make sure your next trip to Philmont is perfectly prepared.

3 pm - 10 Biking Trips on the Ozark Trail
Have you hit the Ozark Trail on your bike yet? Find out where the best spots are to pedal through the 230 miles of Missouri’s Ozark Trail.

4:30 pm - MR340 for Beginners
Thinking of tackling the MR340 paddling race on the Missouri River? Alpine Shop’s own Perry Whitaker -who has competed six times in the event - will help you do it.

Spring on to the Trails !

Join us for the most beautiful Trail Run in Eastern Missouri with a 10k or 20k Trail Run through the Shaw Nature Reserve in Gray Summit, Mo., on Saturday, March 12.

This spectacular 10k loop course covers a wide variety of terrains: from grass meadows and gravel hiking paths to rocky single track and dirt roads, and from steep cliffs and rolling hills to even a boardwalk above a lily-filled lake!

Registration is limited to the first 300 for this race (and are filling very, very fast). All participants receive a custom logo long sleeve technical t-shirt from The North Face along with pre-and post-race snacks and beverages. Register here!

Our Most Popular Film Showing of the Year!

Our most popular film festival of the year returns! We’ve hosted the World Tour for the past 24 years here in St. Louis and we’re looking forward to bringing it back for at least that long.

This international traveling festival celebrates the most inspiring action, environmental and adventure films from the Banff Mountain Film Festival each year. And each year, we get a little more inspired to discover something about ourselves that can’t be found inside a cubicle’s walls.
