Darn Tough is a brand I did not yet have in my merino wool sock menagerie and I wanted to give it a try. Overall, its a nice sock. It lacks some of the woven-in arch support that some of my other socks offer, but this Darn Tough sock fits the foot well. It has a thicker cushion and was a little too warm for my hike in early August, but am excited to use them again in October. And, I should mention even though they were a bit warm, my feet never got sweaty, they were excellent at wicking the sweat away.
