What a fun way to light up the dark! It has a white light mode along with the continuous color changing, and one constant color modes. Good sturdy headband, as usual, but didnt seem too intense for a child. Need a tool to pop it open to change the batteries so it is unlikely to just pop open and allow access to them. The only drawbacks I noticed, and kept it from 5 stars, was the single button operation took me a bit to get used to, and it isnt super bright (I figure that is a safety feature for the kids). I anticipate it will become one of my childs favorite adventure tools.
