I was looking for Chacos last spring when I found an insane deal on a pair of plain black Tevas that I could'nt pass up. They have served me well for the year I've had them. They are a great super lightweight sandal that I can wear all day long - inside or outside. I like that I can easily stow them away in my pack for a lightweight water and camp shoe on backpacking trips. Unfortunately, I've noticed that I've worn down the heal quite a bit, they tend to be slippery on any wet surfaces and they don't have the arch support I like. I know they wont last me 7 years like my boyfriends Chacos, and I can't have them re-strapped or re-soled like Chacos, but I like them for what they are.

These tevas are undeniably comfortable and perfect for any outdoor adventure such as light hikes, floating or kayaking. I enjoy the ease of the Velcro compared to chacos complicated straps. Great quality and great price.

Tevas are comfortable as soon as you slip them on your feet. Theres no painful/ uncomfortable process of breaking them in. They are a reliable shoe in any weather. I wouldnt recommend them for long hikes on rocky terrain, however. I wear mine almost everyday in the summer. Plus they come in some cool colors + patterns.

I have had the same pair of Tevas since I was a junior in high school. I am now a junior in college. They have held up super well and the only reason I bought a second pair was because the colors were so fun I couldnt resist! For everyone who thinks Chacos are too heavy, these are your guy.
