Since the forecast for the GoSTL marathon was rain and sleet, I had my torrentshell tied around my waist for the first 20 miles of the marathon on April 10. About mile 20, I was glad I had it as the wind picked up and it began to sleet and rain for the last 6 miles. My feet may have been wet but I was dry and warm on top. My Patagonia performed just as it was marketed.
