  • This rugged duffel bag proves that being stubborn, thick-skinned and indifferent can be a beautiful thing. Highly weather-resistant, it protects gear from travel and rough handling. Its main compartment is accessed by a zippered U-shaped lid, which has a pair of zippered mesh pockets on the underside for small items. A zippered exterior pocket holds the stuff you need to access quickly. The padded bottom panel adds structure and helps cushion the load when your duffel gets the baggage-handler treatment. Carrying options include padded removable shoulder straps, webbing handles with a snap closure and haul loops at either end that facilitate linking multiple bags. Four daisy chains let you lash additional gear to the outside.
  • Features:
  • Burly polyester ripstop with highly weatherproof TPU laminate and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
  • Large opening to main compartment, zippered side pocket, mesh pockets in lid; stuffs into its own pocket for easy storage
  • Padded, removable shoulder straps, webbing handles with snap closure and haul loops at either end for easy carrying
  • Padded base protects contents
  • Burly, reinforced daisy chains for lashing

48 cans of beer and an 8lb bag of ice

I already loved my 60L Black Hole Duffel. I had flown with it to New Orleans and Portland, OR this year. Carry on both times. I was able to move around the airport quick and easy with the shoulder strap option. Recently I bought 48 cans of beer for Alpine Shop Columbia to give to our customers complimentary. I put the 48 cans of beer and an 8lb bag of ice in the 60L duffel bag to carry to the shop. I was concerned the heavy weight would break the D rings where the shoulder straps attach to the duffel bag. I was also concerned that the shoulder straps would dig into my shoulders and be uncomfortable because the duffel bag was so heavy. To my surprise, the D Rings did not break and I was able to carry the bag on my shoulders comfortably. I highly recommend this duffel bag to everyone!
