  • While the all-leather upper of the Bridger gives a nod to classic hikers of yore, there`s nothing old-fashioned about these stats: a pliable, extra comfortable collar; a lightweight TPU forefoot plate that preserves the shoe`s integrity; BDry waterproofing; metal hardware and a lightweight, aggressive outsole. Unlike the waffle stompers of our youth, the Bridger`s leather goodness comes with practically no break-in time.
  • Features:
  • The BFit Deluxe Insole stabilizes arches, protects high-impact zones, and costs nothing extra.

  • Proprietary BDry membrane blocks water from wet trails while wicking sweat away
  • Upper: Waterproof Nubuck Leather; Oboz BDry Waterproof / Breathable Membrane; Molded Rubber Toe Cap & Heel Counter

I like that the larger toe box allowed me to fit into a smaller size boot that better fit my small heels. One of the great things about Oboz is that they put their Deluxe Insole into every pair of boots... Unfortunately, they are a bit low for my high arches. But they seem to fit most folks just fine.

My winner boot

To me, Oboz is something special. Ive tried on many different pairs of hiking shoes, boots and styles and nothing has come quite close to this brand. It just fits in all the right places and really supports my foot. I have a larger shoe size for a woman, I wear size 9.5-10, and the 10 fits perfect. I have just enough toe room, and the support is spot on. It groves into my arch, and cups my heel. For my first pair of hiking boots, I think I made a great choice. Oboz has a specific molded footbed too that gives you more support than the average boot, which I usually would have to supplement with a aftermarket insert, but these are great from the start.
