The one rain jacket you need
4/5 Avg. Product Rating

This new rain jacket from Mountain Hardwear has all the function I need for comfort and safety on the trail, as well as looking in place around town. The fit is exactly what I expect for a rain jacket, so theres room for a couple layers underneath, and Im still comfortable if Im wearing this jacket over a t-shirt. The sinch system for the hood works well, and is simple with just a pull cord on the back of the hood. Soft fabric inside the top of the zipper is a nice touch to keep this jacket comfortable against the face when you have to zip it all the way up. The one element it lacks is pit-zips, which can be a make or break quality for some people. Thats why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. If you are familiar with the Marmot Minimalist Gortex jacket, this has the same performance, and still feels thinner and lighter.
