  • The TarantuLace Womens is an unlined leather climbing shoe with asymmetric shape for advanced performance. The Womens specific RN45 last is great for upper end performance without hurting your toes. The synthetic leather overlay lacing harness adds great support for entry to mid level climbers and the unlined leather is comfortable and soft. The aggressive rubber heel rand lets you stand in micro edges and the FriXion RS rubber is hard wearing yet sticky for long life. This is great shoe for gym climbers and outdoor climbers that need a one-quiver shoe that does it all.

These are my first climbing shoes, and I could not be happier about them! The laces offer a snug fit all around my foot, which is great for extra power and precision on the wall. I've used 'em in gyms, outdoors and once for bouldering. Recently, 'Ive been hitting up the Mizzou rock wall with them, and have gotten several compliments on the turquoise color and overall sleek design of the shoe. I'm also proud to say yesterday I completed my first lead climb in these puppies!  The unlined leather lining is soft, smooth and comfortable. If you're looking for a go-to climbing shoe for an indoor or outdoor environment, they're sure to be a great climbing shoe for you, too. The reason I gave four stars is because I did notice just the tiniest bit of space between the shoe and my ankle bone. But still completely worth the investment!
