I used two pairs of these on my first long distance backpacking trip because they are light and feel great against your skin. For backpacking or going abroad these are the perfect travel underwear because they are anti-microbial so they are odor resistant. They are easy to wash and dry in no time, especially if strapped to the back of your pack and exposed to the sun. Ive washed them in both a stream and hotel sink and they felt just as good as the first day I wore them. Pro tip: on a backpacking trip Ive also used them as swimsuit bottoms.

These are the best things you could have when in active traveling. Wether it's backpacking, hiking, camping, bicycling. They are particularly important because they are not cotton, cotton is your ultimate enemy when it comes to moisture and bacteria and that leads to blisters and other bad nasties. Underwear tends to be something we don't think about, but it's what's against your skin is just as important. You want something that will wick moisture away, keep you dry, cool, and preventing bacteria as much as possible. It helps especially if you can't pack a lot, just take two, or three pairs and you're set for a multi week trip as they wash easily in a sink and dry so quickly. They have a comfortable fit, I believe they are worth the money as you'll get a lot more functional use out of them than the average underwear.
