    BB Special - Great Paddle!!

This is a solid paddle investment! Recently used to canoe Florida backwaters, and it performed as described and up to my expectations. The bent shaft positions the blade for a long efficient stroke, resulting in good consistent boat speed. The extra power in the stroke helped when faced with inevitable wind conditions in the salt. While not intended to be a push pole, in the shallowest of areas, the Rock Guard tip, protected the paddle from the oyster shells encountered. A cheap plastic paddle or even a push pole as I had with me is a better option. Would certainly recommend this paddle as an upgrade for the recreational or serious minded lake or river paddler wanting improved equipment.

I love this paddle! The blade has a 14 degree off set which makes paddling my canoe way more efficient. I would also invest in a livery paddle, so that you don't push off of a gravel bar with your new favorite paddle.
