Alpine Shop’s continuing effort to convert the entire population of Missouri and surrounding areas into paddlers lives on in this classic trip down the beautiful Big River from outside DeSoto through Washington State Park to the Mammoth Bridge River Access area. This is one of the easiest and most beautiful trips you can take near the St. Louis area. This is a great trip for beginners looking for the first experience in a kayak! Participants are encouraged to attend one of the Intro to Kayaking: Dry Land Basics courses before their trip.
